“ Today my friend and I had an amazing tea experience at Aunt Jen's tea and spice. Walking into the shop, we inhaled the fragrant scent of tea and spices. Such a pleasant greeting. From the wide variety of loose teas, we chose our preferred flavor and she prepared a pot for each of us. Then we spent the next few hours enjoying the very fine tea fare. Loved the chicken curry and the tuna, but our favorite was the chipotle cream cheese with sliced apples candied pecans and a drizzle of honey. The scones were moist and delicious with the beautifully pink beet-root cream and lemon curd. The brownie bite with matcha glaze was the perfect finish to our delicious afternoon tea. Thank you Jennifer for a great experience and the friendly conversation, sharing our experiences from Polk county, as well as the sweet poem and tea toast. If I'm ever back on this area, I will be sure to stop by again. It was a pleasure. ”

I felt such a welcoming presence when I walked in, everything from the design of the place to the wonderful ladies at the front that make you feel right at home. The hibiscus tea was delicious and I loved that they had natural sweetener such as honey. What really stood out was the homemade scone. “ I discovered this place at YellowGreen farmer’s market and the tea was so good we decided to try the afternoon tea service, and we loved it! My mom and I had the tea service and we both found everything to be so delicious! We felt so welcomed by Jennifer and from start to finish we both had a wonderful experience. We left with full bellies and bags of tea for ourselves, our friends, and family. The tea was so yummy, and I also use her honey (which is local) in all my tea, and have done so for months since I got it at YellowGreen. Can’t recommend this place enough! We will be back for tea service hopefully very soon. ”
